The Islay & Jura Transport Group which is a subgroup of Islay Community Council in conjunction with Jura Community Council meets quarterly to discuss transport provision.

The purpose of the group is to be the formal consultee with Transport Service Providers (other than ferries) & Airport in matters relating to transport provision.

The purpose is also to be the first line of consultation between Transport Service Providers (other than ferries) and to represent users' interest with all relevant stakeholders & authorities.
